The Real Cure

About this project

Lucy and James had a successful charcuterie business that focused mainly on trade sales. However they knew they could grow their direct to consumer business online, but recognised that they didn’t know the best way to go about this in terms of what their website needed.

We started with an audit of their existing website, alongside an SEO competitor analysis that unearthed techniques that they could adapt and deploy for growing their online business. The first priority was to dramatically improve their product pages, both to allow for better SEO content opportunity, but also to give the level of detail and information that discerning online consumers have come to expect. I also helped them to better focus on their business USPs, adding them to the product pages to help set them apart from others in the same market.

As they started to implement more of the marketing techniques identified in the audit/analysis, such as developing the recipes section, I also worked with them to better leverage this content throughout the website, through an enhanced SEO-friendly About page, and integration of the recipes onto the product pages, so customers could get recipe ideas based on the specific product they were looking at.

NOTE: After project completion, all clients receive training to empower them to update their own websites, so bear in mind that anything you see on the live website may not reflect my design work.
