Squarespace Template Comparison and Analysis
It's no secret I'm a Squarespace fan, having used it with clients since 2007. But one of the things I think is missing is an easy way to compare the different templates and select the right one for your project. Squarespace provides a great demo site and lots of example sites for each template, but there's no chart that shows them all at-a-glance. So, I made one myself and you can see it here:

I think it's pretty cool, because:
- It links to a more detailed analysis of each Squarespace template*
- It has explanatory text on the page that tells you what the some things mean
- It will be kept up-to-date with any changes or additions over time
* Every day for the next week or so, I will be publishing detailed analyses for 3-4 Squarespace templates, so by the end of the week, the analyses for all 25 Squarepace templates will be online and linked from the chart. Each analysis includes:
- What the template is best for
- Information about the design and the controls you have over it
- Details about any special pages, such as Index pages or special layouts for Gallery or Blog
- Notes about any unusual / unexpected characteristics of the template, that could affect your site
- Other templates that are similar to that one
Sorry I couldn't put all 25 up at once, but it's a lot of work, so I'm spreading it out.
