About this project

Dana was embarking on a new career as an independent writer, and she needed a website and light touch branding to showcase her work and attract clients.

She had an image that she wanted to draw inspiration from, so I worked with her to create a basic brand (logo, fonts, colours) based on the calm seascape she liked. We then sourced a similar image to act as the lead on her homepage.

Dana wanted to be able to segment her strongest/favourite work into a showcase, while also creating an archive of the full array of her writing in a separate page, using a system that would be easy for her to update on her own in the future.
